![]() I spent weeks trying to get multiple cameras to work in OBS some folks even said it's not possible without a video switcher - my three cameras work flawlessly, natively, right out of OBS. NO NEED TO RENAME identical cameras in the registry MJPEG) - doesn't matter whatever makes your camera look / work the best ("auto" works fine for me) UNCHECK "Deactivate When Not Showing" (this way the camera won't shut off, will be guaranteed to load when switching scenes, and will load instantly) The light on the camera was not on, and it always is on when I have OBS open. For me it stopped working after I updated the Logitech Capture software. When I attempted to select the device, my c922 webcam was greyed out. When I clicked on the properties, Device, FPS, and Video Format are all red. They all work when plugged into USB Hubs, as long as each USB hub is plugged into a seperate USB port on my computer. When I logged in tonight to begin preparing for my stream, I realized that my camera did not show up. The very simple fix was: MAKE SURE EVERY CAMERA IS PLUGGED INTO A DIFFERENT USB PORT. If you have two identical cameras rename one of the devices in the registryįor me, none of these things worked. Loading Camera(s) > Shut down & restart OBS and it magically appears Right-Click Camera (source or scene depending on where you embedded your camera) > Properties > Video Format > set to MJPEG Right-Click Camera (source or scene depending on where you embedded your camera) > Properties > "Deactivate When Not Showing" This fixed my problem completely, I have streamed 4 times since doing this, no hang ups, no. ![]() Allowing camera(s) through firewalls / virus software (especially the bit defender problem) Before opening your OBS, open Logitech capture and set all your lighting, resolution, frequency EVERYTHING in Capture In your OBS, when you add a video input device, rather than select the webcam itself you need to select Logi Capture instead. ![]() There's a lot of information all over the web about the problems with OBS not seeing cameras, especially when using multiple cameras. Camera / Multiple Cameras Not Showing Up in OBS - NOT Bit Defender NOT "Deactivate When Not Showing"
